The year is 1905. A mother is encumbered with cooking for the 10 mouths in her household. As usual her boys watch on, not lifting a finger. Is it even in their place to do so?
Look, masculinity comes with a bit of ego, but culturally, we were taught to hunt birds while our women filled their lungs with smoke to make meals for us. It was perfect. The refreshing smiles from betrothed girls; the heartwarming cheers of mothers and admirers. Oh, we were happy MEN. Nothing could go wrong.
But we have evolved! The boys, now men, know better. Agree? We realize we have allowed so much potential to lie dormant - untapped. And these days, with every passing second, we discover that it is rather ideal to create an enabling environment where both we, and the women can find better ways to contribute to each other’s welfare, growth and development. It is okay that we trade spots with women sometimes. And we are absolutely rooting for them to take a cue from Elon and go hiking in space. We can fully appreciate why they want something more now.
So this is us, the heroes of the kitchen, leading the pack for partnerships among women and men to reach unimaginable heights. We are Menscook - Men shaping balanced life goals for men and women alike, with our craft.
